Pete Andrew – Taylor Wimpey
Director of Land and Planning at Taylor Wimpey UK. Prior to the merger of George Wimpey and Taylor Woodrow he was Land and Planning Director at Taylor Woodrow Developments. Pete began his career as a Quantity Surveyor, progressing to Land Director and then Regional Managing Director for Taywood Homes and Taylor Woodrow, via Heron Homes. Pete’s Taylor Wimpey responsibilities are to oversee land and planning activities, as well as having Board responsibility for the legal function, sustainability and political and regulatory matters.

Simon Marsh – RSPB
Acting Head of Sustainable Development at the RSPB. Before moving to the RSPB, Simon spent most of his career as a planning officer at Sefton Council and Essex County Council. Until recently he chaired the Greenest Planning Ever coalition and also the Land Use Planning Working Group of Wildlife and Countryside Link, an umbrella body for voluntary organisations.

Cllr Gary Porter – LGA
Leader of South Holland District Council. Chairman of LGA Environment and Housing Programme Board. Chairman of the District Council’s network. Gary has been a Conservative Councillor for 10 years and has represented both a rural and an urban ward both South Holland.
John Rhodes – Quod
Planning consultant and former head of RPS Group Plc’s London Office, John is now a director of a new planning consultancy, Quod, which he set up last year. He has extensive experience of large development, infrastructure and regeneration projects. John represents the Major Developer’s Group at DCLG’s policy sounding board.
